Terms & Condition

1.    TRIAL CLASS

Students will be given one trial class or assessment class upon request. However, a non-refundable pool entrance fee of RM20 per person is required. This fee must be paid upon arrival at the compound. Each class accommodates up to four participants and will proceed as scheduled, regardless of whether the slot is fully booked.

2.    REGISTRATION FEE

As part of Life Swimming School enrollment process, a one-time and non-refundable registration fee of RM100 is required. It is a mandatory, non-recurring payment that formalizes student’s enrollment with Life Swimming School and remains valid for the duration of the association with Life Swimming School.

3.    CANCELLATION POLICY

3.1.    Class Cancellations must be made with a minimum notice of more than 4 hours prior to the scheduled class time. Classes canceled with sufficient notice may be rescheduled at a mutually agreed time. This policy ensures smooth scheduling and accommodates the needs of both students and coaches.

3.2.    Last-Minute Cancellations which are made less than 4 hours before the scheduled class will result in the session being forfeited. As a one-time exception, the first instance of a last-minute cancellation will be eligible for rescheduling. However, any subsequent last-minute cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the class.

3.3.    In the event the coach is unavailable or unwell and unable to conduct a class, Life Swimming School reserves the right to appoint a replacement coach without requiring prior confirmation from the student. Students will be promptly notified of the replacement. If a replacement coach cannot be arranged, or if the student opts not to proceed with the replacement, Life Swimming School reserves the right to cancel the class. In such cases, the class will be rescheduled, and the student will be informed accordingly.

3.4.    In exceptional circumstances requiring temporary office closure, students will be notified in advance of any class cancellations. Efforts will be made to arrange suitable replacements for any affected classes to minimize disruption.

3.5.    In the event of adverse weather conditions, Life Swimming School reserves the right to make a cancellation decision, even at the last minute or upon students’ arrival at the compound before or at the commencement of the class. This decision is made to ensure students’ safety and well-being. Our certified lifeguards conduct real-time and thorough weather observations.

3.6.    In instances where a class does not commence, a replacement class will be scheduled. However, if the class is already in progress and the pool must be closed due to inclement weather, the following guidelines will be applied:

3.6.1.     For classes lasting 1 to 10 minutes, this will be considered as the class cancellation, and it will be rescheduled.3.6.2.     For classes lasting 11 to 20 minutes, this will be considered as half of the class conducted, and the remaining half will be rescheduled.3.6.3.     For classes lasting 21 to 45 minutes, this will be regarded as a full class conducted, and no replacements will be arranged.

4.    NO-SHOW POLICY

Failure to attend a scheduled class without prior notice will be considered a no-show. For the first instance of a no-show, the class will be treated as canceled and may be rescheduled. Any subsequent no-shows will result in the forfeiture of the class. This policy ensures smooth scheduling and accommodates the needs of both students and coaches.  5.    REFUNDS & TRANSFERS

All packages purchased are non-refundable. However, package transfers are permitted and may only be made to immediate family members.

6.    VALIDITY EXTENSIONS

In the event of health-related issues, we may consider granting an extension of the program's validity period. To request such an extension, Students are required to submit valid medical documentation, such as a medical report, for review. Life Swimming School reserves the final decision on the validity extensions.
